I have a blog here. I have liveJournal. I have deadjournal (if it exists anymore) and I have Facebook. My thoughts and posts are cluttered and scattered all over the net. I'm not thrilled by this. Need to work on streamlining everything and then posting it all from my phone if possible. It's not always convenient to access my thoughts and the web simultaneously.

So I milked a goat

However, I have decided that until my property magically grows, I will not be raising goats. Tempting, though, as the town has no prohibition on goats or even cows. Just poultry, equines and pigeons. Yes, pigeons.

It was a fun day, I learned a lot and bought a lot. Got hub's favorite three herb cheese, goat fudge, two bottles of winery wine (a non oaked chardonnay and a sweet dessert ice chard)The kids had a good time, mom in law did too. Finally made it to the tea cottage, and boy, I was disappointed. I did enjoy the lavender lemonade, but I was expecting lavender shortbread cookies. No such luck. I will be trying my own recipe soon.

My second cheese was still not mozzarella, but it was smooth and creamy and rich.
Kombucha looks very much like the scoby is growing.
Keep forgetting to start the mushrooms!
Hub wants more saurkraut too.

Tomorrow is back to work. Big state presentation.
